علق الإسباني ميشيل سلجادو المدرب السابق بالجهاز الفني لمنتخب مصر على تجربته مع الفراعنة خلال الفترة السابقة.
وأقيل سلجادو مع جميع أفراد الجهاز الفني الذي كان يقوده المكسيكي خافيير أجيري بعد خروج مصر من دور الـ16 في بطولة أمم إفريقيا 2019.
وقال سلجادو في تدوينة على موقع الصور الشهير "انستجرام": "مصر كانت تجربة لا تقدر بثمن حيث تعلمت الكثير وأعتقد أنه لم تتح لي الفرصة لتقديم أفضل ما لدي".
وكان هاني رمزي المدرب العام السابق لمنتخب مصر قد أوضح أن سلجادو لم يكن له أي دور أو مهام محددة مع الجهاز الفني للفراعنة.
واختتم: "لكن بعد الراحة والتفكير في الأمر، حان الوقت للارتداد مرة أخرى في طريقي إلى جواتيمالا وبنما وكوستاريكا وسان بيدرو سولا في هندوراس".

It's been a hard time but Egypt has been a priceless experience where I've learnt a lot and I think I didn't have the chance to give my best. But after resting and thinking it over, it is time to bounce back so on my way to Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica and San Pedro Sula in Honduras. Tomorrow we'll start our tour in Guatemala and I think I'm bringing a great team of Legends, then get ready in Costa Rica on 2nd and Honduras on 3rd of August for another amazing team of Legends. Hemos pasado por un momento duro pero Egipto ha sido una experiencia impagable donde he aprendido mucho y quizás no he tenido la oportunidad de darlo todo. Pero ya es momento de volver,así que, ya de camino a Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica y Honduras. Mañana comenzamos nuestro Tour en Guatemala y creo que he logrado traer a un equipazo de Leyendas, después espero que Costa Rica y San Pedro de Sula se preparen para otro equipazo de Leyendas el 2 y 3 de Agosto respectivamente.
